Komaeyu

A Komae sento reborn in 2023 through a renovation by architect Jo Nagasaka of Schemata Architects, known internationally for projects like Blue Bottle Coffee. Alongside the traditional hotter jet bath and a natural-water cold bath, it added a cooler high-concentration carbonated bath and an auto-loyly sauna whose walls use bakuhanseki stone for strong radiant heat. The indoor rest space stays comfortable with a gentle breeze from a spot cooler. After bathing, enjoy craft beer and food at the attached cafe-bar SIDE STAND. It is about a 3-minute walk from Komae Station on the Odakyu Line.
