Bunka-yu

A Koto ward sento built around a carbonated bath said to aid circulation, best enjoyed with a long, slow soak. On Sundays and holidays the outdoor bath features several rotating medicinal baths such as peppermint. There is also an electric (denki-buro) bath, jet and bubble baths, and a ganbanyoku stone-bed room, plus a large TV in the rest area. The premises are carefully cleaned. Reached by bus from Higashi-ojima Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line, getting off at Kitasuna 6-chome, right at the stop.
