Iwa no Yu

An old-fashioned bathhouse in Iwabuchi, Kita ward, a 3-minute walk from Akabane-iwabuchi Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. The well water is freshly heated with firewood, and the daily-changing medicinal herbal bath is popular. The jets are strong, and the bath features a painted mural and a tiled artwork in the bathing room under a coffered ceiling, with a bubble bath and a seated bath as well.
