Tomi-no-yu

An old-fashioned, retro sento in Tateishi, Katsushika ward. Its highlights are a soft-water bath well regarded for being kind to the skin, water heated by a wood-fired boiler that is hot yet soft, and a daily-changing medicinal bath. The bathing room has a mosaic tile mural and a coffered ceiling. About 10 minutes on foot from Keisei-Tateishi Station on the Keisei Oshiage Line.
