Myoho-yu

A bathhouse a 2-minute walk from Shiinamachi Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, reopened in January 2019 under the theme of focusing on the water. The barrier-free bathing area features what it calls Japan's first soft-water carbonated silky bath, along with a cold-water bath, an electric bath (denki-buro), a jet bath, and a micron bubble bath, with nano-microbubbles used throughout to help clean pores and retain moisture. High-temperature saunas serve both the men's and women's sides. The lobby and changing room use a Belgian material chosen for its soft feel, and a mini gallery shows work by artists from the Shiinamachi area.
