Miyashita-yu

A clean, brightly lit neighborhood sento in Sugamo, Toshima ward, a 3-minute walk from Sugamo Station on the Yamanote Line. The baths are heated with a heat pump system, and there is a cold-water bath drawn from a well 150 meters underground, plus a soft-water bath that is easy on the skin. Facilities include jet baths, a bubble bath, seated baths, reclining baths, and a sauna, with a medicinal herbal bath offered on Wednesdays and Sundays.
