Kairyou-yu

A stylish sento in Higashi, Shibuya, redesigned by Kentaro Imai and reopened in December 2018. The chic bathing room is decorated with a backdrop painting by a contemporary artist, and there are three baths: a large carbonated-spring bath, a medium-temperature bath, and a cold-water bath, all using skin-friendly soft water. A far-infrared sauna is also provided, and a giant whale mural on the exterior wall marks the building. It sits roughly midway between Shibuya and Ebisu stations.
