Hotel Chene Kijimadaira

A 44-room ski hotel at the foot of the Kijimadaira ski area in northern Nagano, a minute's walk from the slopes. It was formerly the Kijimadaira Onsen Kanko Hotel, whose big draw was a mixed open-air bath; since the change of name and owner no mixed bathing has been confirmed. Today's listings describe a large shared indoor bath and free parking, and no open-air bath. Whether the bath water is natural hot-spring water is unclear, so check with the hotel if that matters to you.
