Kiraku

This is an old-style ryokan close to the middle of Kinosaki Onsen, an easy walk to several of the town's public bathhouses. The shared indoor bath is modest in size, so most guests split their soaking between it and the sotoyu circuit. Two private baths can be booked by the hour, a pottery tub and an iron-kettle tub, both filled with the same hot-spring water. The inn also runs a small pottery and painting workshop on site, and dinner is a seasonal kaiseki course built around local seafood and Tajima beef.
