About
Suwaya has just four guest rooms, and each one comes with its own private bath. They are all different: a semi-open-air hinoki bath, a stone bath, a gravel-lined bath with big windows, and a wooden barrel bath. Only the barrel bath, in the ground-floor room Tsuki-akari (月あかり), is inside the room itself. For the other three you step out and open the bath with a dedicated key. The baths can be used at any hour, and you can't pick which one you get when booking. The water is colorless and clear, drawn from the Oku-Tamakawa onsen (奥たまかわ温泉) spring. Shampoo, body soap and a set of skin care items are provided.
