Tamonso

Tamonso is a small minshuku (民宿) in Urasa, within walking distance of the station. The bath is indoors only: clear, odorless onsen water that feels smooth on the skin, with a big window that looks out on the hills behind the building. The building shows its age but is kept clean, and the mood is easygoing and unfussy, the kind of place where the family running it chats like an acquaintance. Parking is roomy.
