About

The memorable name of our sento was devised by its original proprietors when it was established in 1933, inspired by the Palace of the Dragon King in the legend of Urashima Taro, which it resembled at the time. In 2012 it underwent major renovations, and original furnishings were introduced, including a cool-down bench. There are various kinds of baths including two types of sauna (far infrared and steam), and you can enjoy bathing to your heart’s content as if you were in the Dragon King’s palace. We were also quick to adapt to the information age, launching a website back in 1998. *The sauna is the far-infrared type.
