About
A city-run day-use bath in the Otaki onsen area of Odate. The indoor bath is split into two tubs, one hotter than the other, and there is a rock-style open-air bath outside. The water is clear and runs on the hot side, so many people go back and forth between the hot tub and the open-air bath to cool down. There is no sauna. The wash stations have no soap or shampoo, so bring your own. Parking is roomy. In heavy snow the open-air bath can be closed. It is a plain, quiet neighborhood bath rather than a resort.
