About
Nigatsuda Onsen Tonosama-yu is a natural sodium chloride hot spring located in Ibusuki City. Established in 1831 by the 27th lord of the Satsuma domain, Shimazu Narioki, it was a private bath for lords. The remains of the old bathhouse are behind the current building, and the bath features the Shimazu family crest. There is also drinking hot spring water suitable for chronic digestive diseases and constipation.
