Lakeside inn Beehive

There is no large communal bath here. Instead the inn has two private onsen baths, named Tsuki (月, moon) and Hoshi (星, star), each with an indoor tub and an open-air bath. They are about the same size. Tsuki has a natural-stone tub and a wide terrace, and on a clear night you may see the stars. Hoshi has a large tiled tub. Guests book them in 40-minute slots when they check in, and the baths are free to use. The changing rooms are small and only meant for changing. The inn takes only five groups a day and is run by a couple, with French and Italian-style dinners that reviewers praise. It sits near Lake Onogawa in Urabandai, and the baths are for staying guests.
