Uses natural hot spring water
A celebrated Adachi ward sento in classic miya-zukuri temple-style architecture, sometimes called the King of Engawa for the Japanese garden viewed from its veranda, regarded as one of the finest in the city for its seasonal flowers. Well water is heated with firewood, and a popular daily medicinal bath and a warming herbal bath are offered among a wide range of tubs. The sauna is on the women's side only. The lobby is roomy, and it welcomes sento runners and will hold luggage. Reached by bus from Kita-senju Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, getting off at Senju Sakuragicho, then a five-minute walk.
