A small minshuku (民宿) in Oyasukyo, in Yuzawa, Akita. The bath is an indoor one with a large window facing the mountains, and the water is a blend of two sources, said by guests to leave the skin smooth. Day-use bathing (日帰り入浴, higaeri nyuyoku) is open to non-guests, and there are lunch-and-bath day-trip courses too. Shampoo, body soap, razors and hair dryers are set out. The place is run by a family and feels like a country relative's house, with simple rooms and home cooking that guests often single out, including mountain vegetables in season.
