Nurukawa Sanso (温川山荘) has two mixed open-air baths, plus separate indoor baths for men and women. Reviewers remember the open-air baths surrounded by fresh green in spring. It is currently closed temporarily, after the bridge leading to the inn collapsed. Check before you plan a visit.
