YesClosed the third Monday of each month (the following Tuesday if that Monday is a public holiday). For 2026, confirmed closures fall on October 19, November 16 and December 21. The bathhouse closes early on December 31, with normal hours resuming from January 1.
Discounted ticket books and season passes are also sold at the front desk.

Tonekkonoyu is a day-use bathhouse in Hidaka, Hokkaido, with no guest rooms attached. Indoors there's a lying-down bath, a mild-temperature pool that's easy for kids, a dry sauna, and a cold plunge; outside are two open-air tubs, one filled with the natural spring water and one with fresh water. The spring water itself runs a deep brown. A small reservable bath is available for families, and there's a restaurant on site. The rest lounge is stocked with close to 4,000 books.
