Kabaniwakan

Kabaniwakan is a small inn in the hills of Soma, not far from Matsukawaura, with a bath filled with onsen water. The bath is modest in size, and guests describe the water as gentle and comfortable for a long soak. Bathing times are not fixed, so it is worth asking when you arrive. The garden climbs a rise behind the building, and from the top you can look down over the Pacific. It is an older building run by a friendly family, known for large home-style meals. Day-trip plans (higaeri, 日帰り) are available if you book by phone.
