The bath sits on the top floor, with an indoor hall and an open-air rotenburo on both the men's and women's sides looking out over Shibu Onsen's old townscape. The water blends three of the town's springs and stays flowing fresh, smooth and gentle on the skin. A private family bath between the two lets you soak without company. All the guest rooms face the Yokoyu river and the town below. Reviewers describe a quiet, homey ryokan where the baths rarely feel crowded, and where geta are lent out for wandering Shibu Onsen's public bathhouse circuit after dark.
