Kawaratei (かわら亭) is a 12-room inn in Myoko that also takes day visitors. The baths are separated by gender. Indoors there are two tubs, one with jets, and the open-air bath looks out on a Japanese garden. The open-air bath is filled with onsen water, while the indoor tubs use cold mineral water, which the inn says plainly is not onsen. There is a dry sauna, and in summer a cold plunge is set out. On weekends and holidays the dining room serves meals to visitors who only come to eat.
