Takinoyu (滝の湯) is the second communal bath of Yamada Onsen (山田温泉), kept for local members and guests of the village's inns rather than day visitors. The water runs very hot, hot enough that inn staff tell guests to stir it well before getting in, and there are no showers. It is a neighbourhood bath that people drop into for a quick soak, and in the daytime it is often empty.
