A small day-use bathhouse in the Yaba countryside that also runs a cafe out of the same building. Downstairs are two compact, gender-separated indoor baths, each with big windows on two sides looking out over the surrounding hills and countryside; regulars say the men's and women's sides sometimes swap between visits. The water is tea-brown, a little smooth on the skin, and carries a light mineral scent. Upstairs, the cafe serves cakes and drinks like strawberry milk, and you can stop in for just the sweets without bathing. It's one of the baths on Kyushu's 88-bath onsen trail (Kyushu Onsen-do, 九州温泉道).
