About
The indoor bathhouse has two rooms, one lined in cypress and the other in granite, and the two swap between men and women. There's also a small outdoor bath, big enough for a couple of people at a time, with soft, gentle water. Bath towels may cost extra, so bring your own or rent one. This is a simple, quiet ryokan in Katashina, Gunma: skiers settle in for the winter, and hikers heading into and out of the Oze wetlands use it as a base the rest of the year.
