Hashimotoya

A small, old-fashioned minshuku (民宿, family-run guesthouse) in Yunokami Onsen. The bath is a large gender-separated indoor one that guests can use at any hour, and the water is soft and smooth on the skin. In summer, from July to September, there is also a hot-spring pool. The feel is simple and rustic, closer to a Showa-era country inn than to a polished ryokan, with home-style local cooking.
