Hirnaoya

Hiranoya (ひらのや) is a small ryokan with seven guest rooms in Yunokami onsen, in Shimogo, Fukushima. The baths use natural hot-spring water: a roomy indoor bath that smells of cypress, and a garden rotenburo (open-air bath) you see through the window, with the seasons changing around it. The men's and women's baths are separate, one in cypress and one in stone. It is a quiet, family-scale inn rather than a big hotel.
