Every guest room at this business hotel bathes in real hot-spring water, piped in from a source called Tokujiro-no-yu (徳次郎の湯) and mixed with tap water at a lever in the tub so you can set your own temperature. A day-use spa split across separate floors for men and women adds an indoor bath, a cold plunge, a jet bath and a high-temperature dry sauna, open to walk-in visitors as well as hotel guests. The hotel sits right by JR and Hanshin Fukushima Station, and its restaurants (a coffee shop, a buffet, a Japanese and tempura room, a steakhouse) draw in local diners for lunches and family gatherings, not just travelers staying the night.
