A 24-hour super-sento with a mixed infinity pool, swimsuit area, in central Osaka, with views of JR Osaka Station, Umekita Park, and Umeda Sky Building. From ¥3000 for 12 hours. This new, slightly flashy and noticeably expensive place offers everything you'd expect from a super-sento: a few different baths, a sauna, ganban-yoku, a rest area, a restaurant, and massages. It also has a fitness area and gym, plus a mixed swimsuit area, an indoor pool and jacuzzi, a few water exercise machines, and a large outdoor infinity pool with hydro massage, a bar, and lounge chairs. Indoor area: a small bath with natural water (41°C), a larger bath with carbonated water (38°), a small bath with seasonal water, today it was some kind of herbs, a microbubble bath, several hydro massage baths, an electric bath, a large dry sauna, mizuburo (26°), and several loungers. Mixed area: a couple of indoor pools. Here it is important to look for promotions and discount tickets on third-party sites, because the walk-up prices bite. Luckily, links to Jalan, Rakuten, and Trip.com are thoughtfully placed right on the price page of the official site. One important point is that if you buy tickets elsewhere, you cannot use the parking discount, they give 5 hours of free parking after spending ¥5000 at the facility itself, but that can be easily spent on the restaurant and massages. Pros: - right in central Osaka - open 24 hours, onsen close for a couple of hours at night for cleaning - children under 12 are not admitted, and those under 18 are sent out at night - infinity pool with city views, and a bar - there is a kashikiri onsen and a sauna Cons: - expensive - no rotenburo, outside there is only a pool, although it is warm and has hydro massage - children are not admitted, so families are out of luck - the infinity pool and dining places close at night Overall, the impression is mixed, as an onsen place it is rather weak, although there is a good selection of baths. But the freshness of the building, the overall quality of the finishes and service, the infinity pool, and the chance to sleep there cheaply at night right by the city's main station all make the place quite interesting and worth a visit.
