About
A small, old-fashioned ryokan in the Yukisawa district of Odate. The main draw is the large bath, built from Aomori hiba wood and filled with natural hot spring water. Day visitors can bathe without staying, and there is a dining room serving Japanese set meals. Dogs are allowed. The rooms are dated and show their age, but reviewers keep coming back to the warm, family-run feel of the place. It sits in the countryside, so expect the odd insect in warm months.
