Showa-yu

An old-style sento reached by bus from Nakano Station, about three minutes from the Nogata Keisatsusho-mae stop. Good-quality well water is heated with firewood to a hot temperature, and the chilled cold-water bath is well liked. The jets are powerful, and dynamic tile murals decorate the bathing room. It also has an electric (denki-buro) bath, bubble baths, and a rest area, and welcomes sento runners with short-term luggage storage.
