Daikanso is a ryokan in Chikushino with two indoor bathing halls, one in the basement and one on the third floor with a view. There is no open-air bath. The water is a natural hot spring, kept flowing fresh without heating or added water, and the inn says the source has been running for around 1,300 years. Guests staying overnight or attending a banquet can also book a private family bath or a bedrock-bath (ganbanyoku) session, though neither is open to day visitors.
