Day Use
YesBath-only visits start at 15:00 and are usually until 20:00, within one hour. Closing can be as early as around 18:00 depending on lodging guests. Morning bathing (6:00 to 9:00) is for staying guests only. Phone ahead; bath-only visits are often refused around New Year, Golden Week and Obon.
Adults 800 yen, children up to elementary school 400 yen. Reservation by phone is required. No towels provided.

About
A plain, old-fashioned ryokan in Kitaura Yumoto, a little past the main Oga onsen village. The bath is a big hot one that reviewers describe as properly hot and roomy, and the changing room is basic, with no lockers and no towels. Staying guests can book a private open-air bath ahead of time, and one ground-floor room has its own onsen bath. Day visitors can bathe only by calling first, and the private bath is for guests only. The feel is retro, close to a Showa-era tojiba (湯治場, a stay-and-heal bathhouse), with a lot of stairs and not much fuss.
