Unsuisen

A traditional bathhouse in Higashi-Nippori, Arakawa Ward, a 5-minute walk from Mikawashima Station. It keeps the old-fashioned sento layout with a high ceiling, a spacious washing area, a coffered ceiling, and a garden. Notable touches include a Mt. Fuji-style painted wall (penki-e), tiled artwork in the bath, a medicated bath, and retro fittings like a wooden shoe-locker tag system and a bandai attendant's stand.
