Teikoku-yu

A classic bathhouse in Higashi-Nippori, Arakawa Ward, about a 7-minute walk from Mikawashima Station, which reopened in April 2023. The building is a temple-style (miyazukuri) structure with a coffered ceiling, decorative gable carvings, tiled and mosaic bath artwork, and a garden. Inside there is a hot bath and a medicated bath, with retro details such as a bandai stand and old-fashioned weighing scales.
