Kokusai Sado Kanko Hotel Yahatakan

A big, old-style resort hotel in Yahata on Sado Island, with a large onsen bath fed by kakenagashi (源泉かけ流し) water. Visitors describe the water as thick and silky, and the bathing area as more than the usual hotel bath: an open-air bath, a sauna and a cold plunge pool are mentioned too. The hotel also has two restaurants, a cafe and a shop. Whether day-use bathing is open to non-guests is not clear, so it is worth calling ahead.
