About
A small neighborhood bath (kyodo yokujo, 共同浴場) in Kira Onsen, Sekikawa village. Nobody staffs it: local residents take turns cleaning and looking after it, and visitors are welcome to use it too. The tub is tiny, about enough for two people, and reviewers say the spring water goes in as it comes and can run quite hot. A plain, honest local bath rather than a destination.
