Minshuku Inariya

Minshuku Inariya is a small family-run guesthouse in Yunokami onsen, with only four rooms. There are two baths, one for men and one for women, each with an indoor bath and an open-air bath looking out on quiet greenery, and both are kakenagashi (fresh water kept flowing through). They can also be taken as private baths. The water is soft and smooth, and guests say it leaves the skin silky. Staying here is as much about the hosts and the dinner as the bathing: a red torii marks the entrance, and the meal built around the house inari sushi and plenty of tempura is known for being more than most people can finish.
