YesAbout once a week the bath closes from 12:00 to 16:00 for a water changeover, cleaning and disinfection. There is no fixed weekday for this, and the closure is announced on the official site as it comes up.
Children up to elementary-school age pay a reduced rate, and children age 3 and under bathe free.

The second-floor bath here is one large indoor room, roughly 40 meters long, with windows facing straight out over the Pacific. The water feels smooth and silky on the skin. There's a jacuzzi alongside the main tub, plus a dry sauna and a mist sauna, and the men's and women's sides swap daily. Day-use bathing is open to non-guests as well. Hotel Riviera Shishikui sits at the southern tip of Tokushima, next to the town's roadside station, with a seafood restaurant and rooms that mostly face the ocean.
