Awanosyou Inn

This ryokan sits by the Yoshino River, at the entrance to the Oboke-Iya gorge. It has one large indoor bath rather than a rotenburo; the hot-spring water is smooth and slightly slippery, kept mild enough to soak in for a long while. A rooftop terrace looks out over the river and Ikeda Bridge.
