A ryokan in Yunohama (湯野浜) with a beach just across the road. The baths are split into two: Ginsui no yu (吟水湯), with a stone indoor bath and open-air baths that look out over the Sea of Japan and the Shonai sunset, plus a dry sauna, and Gessui no yu (月水湯), built around cypress, with a waterfall-view cypress bath, an open-air cypress barrel bath and a mist sauna. There is also a bookable private bath called Ren (漣) with a cypress barrel tub and a sea view. Some suites have their own onsen bath with an ocean view. Day-use bathing without a stay is not accepted. Reviewers mention the old-fashioned, attentive service and sunset dinners with local seafood.
