YesDay-use bathing runs 10:00 to 24:00, last entry at 23:00. Overnight guests have separate windows, 6:00 to 9:00 and 15:00 to 24:00 (last entry 8:45 and 23:00 respectively).
These rates are per adult (junior high school age and up) or child (age 3 through elementary school); family packages for two adults plus a child are discounted. Ondol, hot-stone bathing and the IKI sauna cost an extra 800 yen per adult. A reservable family bath for up to 4 people is 2,300 yen per hour (1,200 yen per extra 30 minutes), subject to availability. Towels are a separate rental: 100 yen for a face towel, 150 yen for a bath towel.

The hotel's bathing floor, Karaku-no-yu (華楽の湯), splits into two rooms, Kura-no-yu and Wa-no-yu (蔵の湯 / 和の湯), that swap between the men's and women's sides on an odd/even-month schedule. Each side has a natural hot-spring bath, a jar-shaped tsubo-buro (壺風呂) tub, a mist sauna and a dry sauna, and the floor also has an ondol heated room and a hot-stone bath (岩盤浴). Time-limited family baths can be reserved if you'd rather bathe without sharing. It's a 261-room hotel in Himeji built mainly for overnight stays rather than a spot people drop into on a day trip, but the size of the baths and the changing rooms keeps a following: some reviewers say it's become their regular stop whenever they're in Himeji.
