Riverside Fukujusou sits on the bank of the Kuji River in Daigo, drawing local onsen water into a large indoor bath that runs mild and gentle. A separate hinoki (cypress) bath alternates between men's and women's use through the day. It's a simple, no-frills ryokan rather than a resort, and the dining room serves regional dishes built around Okukuji shamo chicken, Hitachi beef, ayu (river fish), yuba and konjac sashimi.
