Arai-yu

A clean, old-style bathhouse in Honjo, Sumida Ward, about a 10-minute walk from Honjo-Azumabashi Station, set in a temple-style (miyazukuri) building with a coffered ceiling, a Mt. Fuji-style painted wall (penki-e), and a well-tended garden. It runs a daily-rotating medicated bath and is known for its powerful jets, with hot and lukewarm tubs. Free Wi-Fi is available, and sento runners are welcome with temporary luggage storage.
