Super Hotel Yamagata Tsuruoka

A Super Hotel branch in central Tsuruoka, with a large communal bath (daiyokujo, 大浴場) filled with natural onsen water, called Yunose-no-yu (湯の瀬の湯). Baths are separate for men and women, and shampoo and body soap are provided. The bath is on the small side, and guests say it fills up with just a few people, so it is worth checking how busy it is before heading in. Tattoos are not allowed in the bath. The hotel has parking, and it is the plain, compact kind of stay rather than a ryokan.
