Adult day-use entry is 800 yen (rising to 900 yen from 1 December 2026, per a site notice). Ages 6 to 12 pay 400 yen, ages 1 to 5 pay 200 yen, and infants under 1 bathe free. An early-morning slot from 5:00 to 8:00 is a flat 700 yen for any age, also rising to 800 yen from 1 December 2026.

Hotel Musashitei sits in Asarigawa Onsen, a hot-spring area in the hills above Otaru long known locally as the city's inner retreat, okuzashiki (奥座敷). The shared bathing area has a spacious indoor bath lit by big windows, an open-air bath that changes with Otaru's seasons, a dry sauna for hot-cold contrast bathing, and a cold bath to cool down between rounds. The self-owned source water is smooth on the skin. The hotel grew out of a traditional Japanese restaurant, ryotei (料亭), and still leans on that heritage with seafood-forward kaiseki dinners built around Otaru's catch and the mountain vegetables of the Asari valley.
