This ryokan sits at the foot of Mount Tsurugi (剣山), in a quiet valley in Tokushima. The big indoor bath is fed by natural onsen water that feels gentle on the skin. There is no outdoor bath, but a proper sauna is paired with a cold plunge, and the bathhouse looks out over green hillsides with the sound of the river below. Day-use bathers are welcome alongside overnight guests, and the inn runs a simple restaurant serving set meals and somen at lunch.
