Asan Kotonami

Asan Kotonami draws its own hot-spring water into several baths: an indoor bath, a riverside open-air bath with rock tubs, a deep bath and a low reclining soak, plus a sauna. A foot bath by the entrance uses the same water, and two private open-air baths, one with a sauna and one with a heated stone chair, are available separately. Six of the main building's room types also have their own open-air onsen bath. The ryokan sits in a wooded river valley in the Kagawa mountains, close enough to a waterfall that you can hear it from the bath, and the main bathing area swaps between men and women through the day.
