A low-key hotel in Moritake Onsen in Akita, with a large communal bath filled with natural spring water that the hotel describes as flowing fresh. The water is salty, clear and warming, and it tends to keep you warm after you get out. Day visitors can bathe, and shampoo, body soap and hair dryers are provided, with towels for rent. The hotel has an old-fashioned, wood-scented Japanese feel, and dinner is often yakiniku, which the in-house restaurant also serves to the public. The sauna is currently out of service.
