Ashiyu Yutabi

A free public footbath (ashiyu, 足湯) in the middle of Tsukioka Onsen, filled with the town's own hot spring water. There is no full bath here, just a place to sit and soak your feet outdoors between walks around town. A small stage (Tsukimi-dai, 月見台) and an information hall called Furatto (ふらっと) are close by, and the footbath has its own car park. Towels are sold at nearby inns, not lent, so bring your own.
